nails: China Glaze Riveting

As you can probably tell from the quick succession of nail polish posts, I got these China Glaze polishes together (in a Black Friday haul, incidentally). Don't worry, this is the last of it.

Base: China Glaze Riveting (Capitol Colours Collection) x2 coats
Top: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat x1 coat

In lamp light. This is an insanely bright, shimmery reddish orange with micro glitter. It might not show as much in the photo but this shit is radioactive-level bright. This glows with the fire of a thousand sunsets you can't look away from. It is very aptly named.

I enjoy an eye-catching manicure every now and then, and Riveting definitely gets the job done. The finish looks a lot more metallic than I originally thought from online swatches -- a kind of foil effect from the densely packed sparkle. It reminds me of a more orange version of the time I layered Scarlet Sparkle over silver but with a smoother/finer texture.

And speaking of texture, the China Glaze polishes I've tried have all been really great with smooth formulas that are not too dry or too liquid/runny, and they go on opaque without streaking. They are pretty long-lasting too.

Moral of the story: You will stop traffic with these nails.

this is not an exit

There is an idea of a carnageincminor; some kind of an abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory.
